The measurement of the crystal is done in length and without the upper octagon.

The standard sizes are:

        1.5" (38 mm)

        2" (50 mm)

        2.5" (63 mm)

        3" (76mm)

   .    3.5" (89 mm)

   .    4" (101 mm)

   .    5" (127 mm)

   .    6" (152 mm)

   .    7" (178 mm)

   .    8" (203 mm)

   .    10" (254 mm)

CONVERSION MILLIMETERS TO INCHES:
25 mm (or 25.4 mm exactly) = 1 inch

These measurements do not include the top crystal piece

14 mm   =  approx. 9/16"
16 mm   =  approx. 5/8"
18 mm   =  approx. 11/16"
20 mm   =  approx. 3/4"

22 mm   =  approx. 7/8"
24 mm   =  approx. 15/16"
